all versions of wine wont install wine 1.4, 1.6, and the latest 1.7.8 has the
issue and ppa is

Wine 1.6 and 1.7.8 haven't landed in the official repos yet. Bring the issue
there up with the wine team. Targeting wine 1.4 here.
