[Bug 29947] Option to set virtual desktops to the current resolution

My initial thought when I created this ticket all the years ago was that such
an option would just map transparently to the screen resolution (as if the
screen resolution would have been entered manually into the "Desktop size"
fields of "Emulate a virtual desktop").
