The witcher is the first well known app that uses a whole amount of SM3.0 uniforms, but maybe not last. I don't know how exactly wine steals uniforms. Maybe we must code a translator, that process D3D shaders into GLSL (or old assembler-like syntax) shaders without using any additional uniforms, etc? Is this possible?
