Indeed you need to recompile[*]
git apply mmdevapi-test-render.patch
make
cd dlls/mmdevapi/tests/
WINETEST_INTERACTIVE=1 WINETEST_DEBUG=5 wine mmdevapi_test.exe.so render

[*] Alternatively, you (or anybody else) submit the patch to testbot.winehq.org
which compiles it for you in both 32 ad 64 bit forms, then you download the
resulting mmdevapi_test[64].exe.
