[Bug 14987] Tropico crashes in the long run

For me, crash seems to happen when Tropico uses software renderer, when its set
to 16bit color depth.

If I select (3D mode) as Hardware, crash doesn't happen (though its bit too
slowish to be actually usable).  Also, crash doesn't happen, if Software mode
is set for 8bit Color Depth. (from Tropico Settings page).

Haven't had time to really dig into this yet.

If you get crashes, try setting 8 bit color in tropico settings to see if it
helps.
