--- Comment #9 from David turbolad995@hotmail.co.uk 2011-01-25 18:28:13 CST --- Go into 1by1 Player's settings by pressing <F6>. Select "default" as the "output device".
I can now play .ogg files using a plugin .dll, which you can find by searching the internet for 1by1 plugins.
But you CANNOT play mp3 files in 1by1 Player when running it via Wine. 1by1 player freezes when you try playing mp3 files, but not .ogg files - WITH THE OGG PLUGIN .DLL PLACED IN THE 1BY1 FOLDER - ALONG WITH ITS DEPENDENCIES in the Wine C: drive.
Try using something like SoundConvertor in Ubuntu to convert an audio file from one format to another e.g. mp3 to .ogg and so on, to test 1by1 player.
I can confirm that 1by1 player - using Wine - freezes when you try using it to play mp3 files. This bug needs to be confirmed. It's easy enough to confirm it by testing 1by1 player with mp3 files.
