I am not convinced that it is a bug in ddraw. It looks like it is a bug in amstream.
fixme:amstream:ddraw_IDirectDrawMediaStream_GetFormat (012E4A44)->(0031FCCC,00000000,00000000,00000000) stub!
So format of surface is not given...
