Someone should confirm that the issue with notepad is caused by the same patch
and either reopen this bug or file a new one, I think.

That it works correctly in some window managers doesn't make this an invalid
bug. Theoretically, the locally active model makes Wine responsible for setting
the focus to its window when it gets a click in its client area (ref:
http://tronche.com/gui/x/icccm/sec-4.html#s-4.1.7 ). It may be that some window
managers are focusing Wine windows or sending WM_TAKE_FOCUS requests when they
shouldn't.
