Same here, I was on for about an hour right after maintenance no problems.  I
left for a while to do some other stuff and came back to not being able to get
past the "Retrieving Hero List" check mark.

I'm using 64-bit kernel (3.4.1) on ArchLinux with recent Wine git and your
patches.
