I can get to menu also, and havent applied any patch.
Using Wine 0.9.54, ubuntu 7.10 amd64.
Sound works fine, but no mouse input, dont know if keyboard work or not.

I get these fixme from console, they seem to be the cause:
fixme:keyboard:RegisterHotKey (0x10026,258,0x00000000,44): stub
fixme:win:RegisterRawInputDevices (pRawInputDevices=0x34de1c, uiNumDevices=1,
cbSize=12) stub!
