Bug ID: 51144 Summary: A way to make wine applications look exactly like native linux applications that use your system theme. Product: Wine Version: 5.22 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: toadfield@tutanota.com Distribution: ---
(I already made a feature request that was similar, but I didn't gave enough info,so I will make a better one here) So what I mean is,look at that picture (left one is vlc in wine and the right one is the native linux version):https://i.nuuls.com/H3-sW.png They have many differences:
1.The most obvious, the color. Before you say "just enable gtk theming",the problem with that is that that only works on staging and that I would like it more if wine would use my qt theme instead of gtk theme.
2.The fonts don't look the same.
3.The buttons at the top and at the bottom don't have the same size and style.
I think that are all the things that make wine look different from the native linux apps. So what I want is that by default that feature gets enabled,so that a new user can't even tell the difference of the looks of wine programs and native linux apps. If you think that this feature shouldn't be enabled by default, then I would find it cool if there would be a check box in the winecfg to enable it.
