--- Comment #6 from Chiitoo escomk3@hotmail.com --- Testing on Linux Mint Xfce edition running in a VirtualBox running in Gentoo Linux, installing seems to work OK.
However, since the game now requires BattlEye, it's not possible to run the client since BattlEye fails with “Driver Init Error (2)” (though it reports it succeeded in installing its service).
Working around that by running the 'client.exe' directly allows for one to launch the client and enter the game without said service running (this is likely to be changed after the initial testing phase of implementing BattlEye has come to an end).
While the client did start with only a white screen visible, the buttons seemed to be there, so it was working to an extent. Switching the graphics engine via the 'clientoptions.json' to OpenGL or Software allows for the game to render properly (did not test both of the DirectX options enough to say much about them).
Wine version: 2.4 (Staging and no Staging).
