You upgraded from a very old Wine version (1.3.0) to a very modern one, without
updating dependencies. It's not Wine's fault if the dependent libraries are out
of date.

If you want to freeze things, why not leave Wine at 1.3.0 with Freetype 2.3.5
and call it a day?
