Yes, It is possible to mount with ln -s in dosdevices EG: mount -t cifs //myserver/myshare /wine_run/dosdevices/i:
Yes, when you use "wine cmd" and you type "i:" you see the entire directory shared by samba
But, theprogram.exe can't open a file EG "i:\mydoc.txt" and write in it... It don't work please report to "20446 bug" that has been marked as DUPL of this bug. And This work as long as windows 3.11 and OS/2!
A Solution? create a dameon that make the work but the time spend to develop that is more expensive than buy XP licences then...
But, you tell me samba provide a solution. Then I ask you "Please give me it"... because i would prefer switching to linux/wine and say Good bye to Microsoft...
