In the same directory where it is when I run wine 20050301 version.

It was not installed (at least I do not remember having installed it, I just
used to run it when I used Win$ows and recently through wine).

Not at all. I repeat: the only thing that changes is the wine version by which
I run the .exe [pls see also comment#4 above]
