My app (Mordor: the depths of dejenol, a game) failed with a message about needing DDE: ddeml.dll to run. touch $WINEPREFIX/windows/system/ddeml.dll did not make any difference. Reverting the mentioned patch did the trick though. Using wine-1.1.2.
