Thanks for the summary.

None of these bugs names msys2 so it's difficult to make the connection -
except the last one which was staging-only back then, has nothing actionable,
and now the installer fails even without staging patches.

With the patches applied I cannot run wine at all, even wineboot -u hangs.
That's as far is git gets for now.
