--- Comment #3 from Mark K markk@clara.co.uk --- Some more information. This issue isn't specific to WinUAE. I noticed it when running winecfg. Running winecfg then clicking on the Audio tab sometimes causes a similar crash.
I installed Wine from the WineHQ ubuntu-wine PPA.
Lubuntu doesn't come with Pulseaudio installed by default (however some libpulse packages are). Without Pulseaudio installed, winecfg says the selected driver is winealsa.drv.
After installing Pulseaudio, winecfg now says the selected driver is winepulse.drv. And I haven't noticed any crashes in winecfg or WinUAE since installing the pulseaudio package.
Could there be something about the options used for building the ubuntu-wine PPA packages that assume pulseaudio is installed, hence the occasional crashes when it isn't?
