Mesa MR 23762 landed recently. It is confirmed that the GLXBadFBConfig problem
is effectively resolved.

So no GL override workaround is needed anymore. ;-)

Note, while Mesa MR 23762 has fixed the GLX problem in conjunction for recent
libx11 versions it may break the creating of contexts if libx11 <1.7.4 is used.
That seems to be an other problem of libx11. Affected users have to update
libx11 to a version >=1.7.4 to resolve that issue.
