I got it to work with wine-5.17:

Run "winetricks -q mfc42 d3dcompiler_43 d3dcompiler_47 ie8"

Note that from "ie8" only the native shlwapi.dll is needed, if you just copy
that and add an override manually, it'll work.

For clarity: This bugreport is about the shlwapi problem, the other issues are
well known.
