Retest on wine-3.2 tag to capture more traces.
Sadly not possible to recreate crash with WINEDEBUG=+d3d, instead of hanging with black screen and stack crash it used briefly opens a black screen and then disappears. I.e. still not working correctly but can't confirm if it is the same crash or not.
Original crash 100% reproducible without WINEDEBUG part so perhaps timing related?
