Hi, I've tried Evernote 6.24 with several Wine versions, 5.0, 5.10, 5.11, and 5.19 and never been able to see the notes text being correctly rendered.
Then I tried Wine 5.18, 5.19 and 6.0-rc2 each time with staging patches applied, and with all of these versions the notes text was correctly rendered.
So I think there's a patch in Wine Staging that fixes the text rendering somehow, but I couldn't see any regression in upstream Wine.
If you're up for it, you could bisect wine-staging against upstream wine.
corefonts might be an obvious culprit, though.
