Summary: Far Cry: Screwed up graphics when using CryVision Product: Wine Version: 0.9.46. Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-opengl AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: spencercw@googlemail.com
Created an attachment (id=8496) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=8496) Screenshot (Ignore the weird rectangles, it is not like that in-game)
Wine version: wine-0.9.46-170-g54720c7 Distro: Gentoo Linux 2007.0 GCC version: gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2) Program: Far Cry 1.33 No-cd patch applied. In Program Files/Ubisoft/Crytek/Far Cry/system.cfg, 'r_Driver = "Direct3D9"' changed to 'r_Driver = "OpenGL"'.
No much to say except see attached screenshot. Ignore the weird colour rectangles, not sure why it came out like that in the screenshot, but it looks fine in-game. It is the weirdness on the arms that you're looking at. A similar effect is seen on enemy characters.
(CryVision night vision and thermal googles rolled into one.)
