The situation has improved with later versions of Wine, and now with 1.7.15 there is only a cut off title in the title bar of the input window and an added grey zone to the right in the window.
This is the situation also with Wine 1.7.43. I shall test it in 1.7.51 or a later version and get back here.
So it was fixed already?
