It actually doesn't fix it, it crashes during this call. Probably structure layout changed. Anyway, next issue is missing __stdio_common_vswprintf_s.
Sorry to have give you false information in that case. That's why it is still crashing without indicated me any error in the console. How did you see it? Just to learn more about how to debug an application run by Wine.
By the way this patch should bring __stdio_common_vswprintf_s: https://source.winehq.org/patches/data/124897
