wine start /Unix ~/.wine/dosdevices/c:/windows/profiles/USERNAME/Start\ menu/Programs/Microsoft\ Word.lnk
Replace "USERNAME" with yours.
LinkInfo (http://wincmd.ru/plugring/linkinfo.html) .lnk viewer doesn't show anything unusual, though.
