I did the test with Assassin's Creed 2 and clean wine-1.2-rc3. Looks like, that
now we are few steps further. It successfully communicates with Ubisoft
servers, but gives own messages:

PatchDownloader2.cpp (611) : failed to decode buffer
PatchPage.cpp (235) : Patch error. Corrupt file? Restarting and retrying.

But few lines above says "I have the latest version, no need to patch" ;-) So
not sure if i'm in right bug report, when i get further.
