Yeah, i just moved all the way back to wine 1.0, still static (0.9.61 doesn't
compile on my machine, so I can't check that), so it has to be something
different (I clearly remember playing sound with wine 1.0 and ALSA driver).

I have a SB Live - 02:05.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Live!
EMU10k1 (rev 05)

Other specs - alsa-lib 1.0.17a, kernel 2.6.26.2, no pulseaudio or any other
sound server.
