Does winetricks dotnet40 or dotnet45 help?
When I try to install dotnet40 from winetricks in my wineprefix, it tells me that it doesn't run in 64-bit wineprefixes. The installation of dotnet45 fails completely.
In a 32-bit wineprefix it installs/runs flawlessly with dotnet40 and ie8. (I tried with Playonlinux)
