If it's starting fine with the latest wine...are there other things to install than the downloadable executable?
Looks like eDrawingsViewer is now at version 2008 (instead of 2007 where this bugreport was about) For that to run i only needed install gdiplus:
'wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks && sh winetricks gdiplus'
