To reproduce on LMMS unfortunately is not very convenient at the moment. Debian apt packages don't seem to include the Vestige plugin and the AppImage at https://lmms.io/download#linux freezes upon loading a VST dll into Vestige until it throws an error about not being able to find RemoteVstPlugin.exe.so. This seems to be caused by LMMS distributing a WoW64 incompatible AppImage at the moment.
It only contains 32-bit version of the file:
Correction based on feedback from LMMS dev @tresf on their discord, nightly builds contains a WoW64 compatible version for conveniently testing their Vestige VST plugin: https://lmms.io/download#linux
Apparently LMMS stable AppImage is known to be in an outdated limbo state in relation to difficulties supporting later versions of wine per @tresf comments.
