My guess is the Supreme Commander flickering issue is actually a separate bug and not really a duplicate.
Yes I agree, but every bug which is caused by the same commit (224043d6cf8b56e9ff2537358646700211d54d1f) was closed as duplicate of this bug. So I didn't bother starting a new one.
