Another crossover games 9.0 user with the same problems.

Before the update I had an issue where every now and again the game would slow
down for a few seconds, then return to normal.

Now, after the update, I get the same slow down problem, however it doesn't
speed up again unless I completely restart the game.

I also have network (lag) issues that I didn't have prior to the update.
