I will however concentrate in my tests on Workbench + Tageditor because Workbench + word is expected to disappear in the next versions and TagEditor can process document in the 2006 as well as in the 2007 Version. Workbench + TagEditor cover at least 90% of the work of a translator using trados. SDLX is a separate tool, covering the same as Trados but less popular. The software is written in Java, so once we get over the basics (.NET + Visual Basics), the other parts will come on their own.
