[Bug 31528] Left 4 Dead 2 display freezes when KDE KWin desktop effects are enabled

Sorry for the late reply, it looks like it works now when desktop effects are
enabled. However, there is another problem, when another program, for example
this browser is open, and I enable desktop effects, only the wine window is
displayed (I have set Wine to emulate a Windows desktop with a resolution of
1366*768, so it covers the entire screen) and I am unable to switch to any
other program.

When I turn off desktop effects, I am able to switch to other programs.

I am using Wine on a laptop, with a Radeon HD 6650M graphics card and with the
AMD Catalyst 12.11 beta driver.
