the executables "Filter Forge x86.exe" and "Filter Forge x86-SSE2.exe" are protected by Execryptor 2.x
Execryptor (http://www.strongbit.com/execryptor.asp) is a tough one and manual analysis of protected targets requires lots of knowledge due to wide range of anti debugging/vm/code morphing tricks being used.
Best approach is probably the use of the protector's demo/commercial version on simple targets to verify/investigate every software protection feature/level one-by-one in wine. This requires considerable amount of time ... although interesting, I fear the priority on this one is very low.
