Can you check if the patch attached to bug #43659 fixes this bug (with winegstreamer enabled)?
I can't confirm this bug in wine-2.1, 3.0-rc2, 3.0-rc5 and staging 2.20. I used the game Crysalis from the link in Comment #2. It uses VX ACE RTP. I tested on openSUSE Leap 42.3, 32bit prefix set to Windows 7.
