It looks like NVidia Optimus is the common thread here, as well as in bug
55633, so retitling and collecting that as a duplicate.

This is probably a bug with the NVidia driver. However, if anyone is able to
perform a bisect, that will probably help the bug get solved a lot more
quickly.
