Those creative sound cards need to use "front" , "surround40", ..for
multi-channels

The so call "multichannel" playback device of snd-emu10k1 is a 16 channels
playback device

Any error message when running "aplay -Dfront any.wav" and "arecord -Dfront -f
CD foo.wav" at two terminals at the same time since there are hooks with locks
for "front" device"

This is why Pulseaudio server hangs since it use "front" device for playback
and capture
