Well I've tried 3.8-108-g48aeef69fc Staging, both with and without Gallium Nine, and it still doesn't work, at least not on the Aim for the Eel level. I have already passed the Air Electoons level and it didn't work back then either but at that time, I figured it was supposed to look like that, strange as it seems now. There must be some other factor at play here. I have a Radeon RX 480, how about you?
Odd. I'm using Nouveau with a GeForce GTX 970 (as in, I overestimated NVIDIA's willingness to provide firmware two years ago). It may be a poor combination in terms of efficiency, but at least it makes Rayman Origins work…
