Summary: Regression -- Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Standard freezes when opening training window Product: Wine Version: 1.1.39 Platform: x86 URL: http://nuance.com OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: susancragin@earthlink.net
Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Standard used to install and train very well. However, within the last week sometimes (I haven't been training every day) a regression has crept in.
Here's what used to happen. After installation, the first time you open NatSpeak, three checks are done. The first checks the microphone loudness, the second checks the sound quality, and the third opens a window that starts the training session. Usually, a useless error-message window pops up between the quality check and the training session window. The message says that the sound may have stopped. (It hasn't.) So you have to close that window before you can proceed. But then everything runs fine.
Now, that error-message window makes a valiant effort to not appear, but the whole thing freezes, and the training window does not come up.
So, whoever tried to remove the useless error-message window has introduced a regression.
