troy, that has nothing to do with this issue; broken checksums you see are
likely caused by checksum offloading (which means NIC itself generate correct
checksum, while Wireshark captures not yet prepared packets). Anyway Wine
hardly can change something that low-level as IP fields, esp. unintentionally.
