The bug/patch comment #4 looks more or less like a duplicate of bug #9104. As stated there someone posted a fix about two years ago: http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2005-October/021306.html
Is there anyone who can judge if the patch is ok, or why it was rejected?
