Correcting the path installs nicely except for an unimplemented function msvcr80.dll._get_winmajor which I simply cannot be bothered to log (winetricks workaround).
This issue is now fixed as of https://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/43034dee45b7e62c86665c53a14c7a.... No winetricks workaround needed anymore.
