Still present in wine 1.5.3. The attempt to "winetricks directmusic" makes the application crash.
Also the game runs too fast here, mostly unplayable.
Did you try with both the directmusic and dsound verbs? Native directmusic depends on native dsound, but winetricks doesn't do the dependency correctly.
