ive tried the options in the faq, and apart from navigating to the directory
and starting the game there with wine .exe, the problem persists. as soon as i
try to open the exe via wine start 'path/to/exe/.exe' the game crashes again.
using the "\" scheme and /Unix parameter produce the same result.
