OK, on to the next showstopper ;) It's in usp10, because the text
corruption is gone with a native override for usp10.dll. I think it's
better to open a new bug for this issue because this bug has already
morphed once. Let's close this bug when an implementation for
GetTextExtentExPointI has landed in git.
