it already rejects some gamma ramps...
is that log including gameplay?
what happens if you switch to a console and run xgamma (you might need to set
the display to :0 )
i bet it's "-> Red  1.000, Green  1.000, Blue  1.000" and so is not a gamma
problem, so i most likely can't help (and setting another gamma value via
xgamma also won't help)
