[Bug 32876] Space Giraffe screen gets flipped and mirrored over a diagonal line

The demo only goes up to level 9 and none of the earliest level that displays
the behaviour is level 16.

lspci shows
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core
Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)

I'm using an onboard Intel graphics card. The issue doesn't happen in windows 7
on the same hardware
