The performance improvement is quite nice. However, I also have the freezing problem mentioned above (every 10 to 30 minutes) which either requires CTRL to be pressed to unfreeze, or CLT+ALT+F1, or a game restart after force quitting.
After several hours of play that is the only major bug I noticed, and if resolved, can be quite an feat for at least WoW.
The freezing issues happen to me on vanilla wine, they may not be related to this patch.
Don't have freezing issues with vanilla wine 1.3.16 running Gentoo 64bit w/ kernel 2.6.38, and most recent nvidia drivers. But the performance is not as solid.
